Burger King says – We Deliver

Nassau – December 14, 2012 – (www.hospitalitybusinessnews.com) According to bkdelivers.com, Burger King is now doing home delivery. The current stores will deliver in their area between 11AM and 10PM, Monday through Sunday. The minimum order is 10 and there is a $2 delivery charge. The site is quick to point out that the delivery is not a tip.

“We are currently testing the service to bring this convenience to the U.S.,” Kristen Hauser, a spokeswoman for Burger King, told bloomberg in an email. The Miami-based chain will expand its test to 16 locations from four by Jan. 23, she said, declining to say whether the service will be offered nationwide.

Customers can order by phone or over the internet. No breakfast items are available and all drinks must be bottled.
